I am a Maker

The Little Merle is where forgotten objects find new life. Each one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry is made from recycled materials—vintage jewelry, toy parts, hardware, and other unexpected treasures—transformed into small wearable sculptures. Inspired by color, texture, and patina, I create with intuition, letting the right pieces come together when they’re ready.

What began as a lifelong habit of collecting overlooked items has evolved into a practice rooted in creativity and sustainability. Since launching The Little Merle in 2022, I’ve shown my work at more than 80 events, featured on Evening Magazine, been juried into the BAM show and invited to join the board of artist advocates for next year’s exhibition.

At its heart, The Little Merle is about connection—between materials, people, and stories—and about honoring the beauty of the unexpected.
